Оn May 10th, 2020, the President of the Republic of Serbia passed the Decision on amending the Decision on announcing the elections for Members of the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia, which sets June 21, 2020 as the date for holding the elections.

Requests of citizens of the Republic of Serbia for voting abroad, may be submitted to the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto no later than May 30, 2020 at 18:00 local time (Serbian time 24,00 hours).

We advise you to check whether you are registered in the Voting registrar (JBS) through the public portal MDULS before submitting your request: https://upit.birackispisak.gov.rs/

A person who is a citizen of the Republic of Serbia and has a permanent residence in the Republic of Serbia and is not registered in the Voting registrar, it is necessary to first submit a request for registration in the list. This request is also submitted to the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto.

Only after the request is resolved, which means that the competent body in the Republic of Serbia makes a decision on enrollment in the Voting registrar, can the request for voting abroad be received or processed.

To register with the Voting registrar or report the fact that a voter will vote abroad, you need to submit a completed application and a copy of a valid passport or ID card issued by the Republic of Serbia, to the Consulate General.

We remind you that the legal minimum for opening a polling station is - 100 registered citizens of the Republic of Serbia with the right to vote, and that the polling station at the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto will be open if this condition is met.
