DUE TO DECLARING OF THE STATE OF EMERGENCY IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA AND PROVINCE OF ONTARIO BECAUSE OF CORONAVIRUS - COVID 19 PANDEMIC

Considering the latest developments regarding CORONA VIRUS  pandemic and declaration of a state of emergency in the Republic of Serbia and the Province of Ontario, the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto is issuing following force meassures:

The Consulate General will provide consular services only in exceptional cases of emergency - death, the urgent need for medical treatment abroad or in Serbia, life-threatening injuries and imprisonment (arrests). The provision of these consular services applies exclusively to the citizens of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Montenegro, who do not have Canadian citizenship.

Dual Citizens of the Rebulic of Serbia and the Republic of Montenegro on one hand and Canada, on the other, will be treated as Canadian citizens in Canada, due to the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963.

As mentioned above, you should contact the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto at gkrstoronto@rogers.com. Other cases will not be considered.

Having in mind what is mentioned above, please do not come to the Consulate General until the state of emergency is lifted and consequently, the epidemiological situation improves.

All consular activites on passports, legalisation, citizenship status, issuing certificates, etc. are canceled until further notice.
