Due to the pandemic caused by the corona - virus, a special procedure is being carried out at the border crossings when entering to the Republic of Serbia. Please read  information below :

Procedure at the border crossing when passengers entering to the Republic of Serbia:

Starting from March 10th, .2020, measures of temporary prohibition and restrictions on entry and movement of persons coming from the area of ​​intensive focal transmission were imposed. The temporary entry ban applies to foreign nationals coming from the intesive focal transmission areas, with the exception of participants in the transport of goods and persons who have obtained consent to enter the country from the Ministry of Health Working Group, based on appropriate evidence of health status (negative test for corona virus not older than 48 hours).

All passengers - citizens of the Republic of Serbia, coming from the field of intensive transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus will be handed a decision on health surveillance.

At international airports in the Republic of Serbia, a health alert is given by airport staff  to all passengers when disembarking the plane.

At certain land border crossings, all travelers who have resided in areas of intense SARS-CoV-2 virus transmission for the previous 14 days will be hended a decision on health surveillance by a border sanitary inspector. The Border Police shall refer the border sanitary inspector to the passengers who report their stay in the areas of intensive virus transmission in the previous 14 days, for the purpose of carrying out the procedure.
