We have a pleasure to inform you that the Parliament of Canada has established Parliamentary Friendship Group for Cooperation with the Republic of Serbia on March 31 of 2014. year.
Chairman of the Group is Mr. Corneliu Chisu, member of the House of Commons. Vice Chairmen are Mr. Chungsen Leung, M.P. and Parliamentary Secretary for Multiculturalism and Mr. Wayne Marston, M.P.
Members of the Executive Board are following members the House of Commons: Mr. Bruce Hyer, Mr. Lawrence Toet, Mr. Ted Opitz, Mrs. Stella Ambler, Mr. Wladyzlaw Lizon.
Other members of the Group are Members of Parliament: Mr. Bob Dechert, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice, Mr. Patrick Brown, Mr. Deepak Obrhai, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Dave Van Kesteren, and Senator Claude Carignan
Mrs. Mirjana Šešum-Ćurčić on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ottawa and Mr. Vukasin Dželatović on behalf of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto attended the first annual meeting of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of Canada for the cooperation with the Republic of Serbia.
